Chris Visagie

I was born on 30th November 1955 and grew up in the lowveld of South Africa. I studied in Pretoria where I got married to my wife Stephanie.

Twenty years ago we moved to Richards Bay in the KwaZulu Natal province. The fact that the local golf course really test a human being patience I started cycling due to a running injury. Since then I have never stopped cycling and have complete 14 Argus races and various other local races.

My 1st 1000 miler was the UK ride. One of the rides I have done this year was the Sani to Tugela on a mountain bike. You can see more detail on www.nomakanjani.com.

I have seen many family members and friends suffered from cancer. My contribution to this ride might change someone's live somewhere. I am looking forward to this ride..
