Hobby cyclist, volleyball player, jogger, soccer coach for a youngsters team.

Cycling experience in the German Spessart low mountain range and riding tours (accidentally during family holidays) in Crete and Mallorca. The riding tours during our family holidays made me think about experiencing more joyful rides.

When I met Wayne in 2009 as a colleague at Sappi we had a chat about cycling, his brother Peter, GIST and the plans for a "Ride for a Cure" in South Africa.

Joined the 2012 South African Ride and received the nickname “The German Hammer” as I “hammered” my bike uphill as if there were no tomorrow.

For the preparation of the 2015 France ride I do not take regards of men and material

I am looking forward to seeing a fantastic team in France and to be part of an outstanding “Ride for a Cure 2015”!
